Incubus used to be played only on NU107 because they were "noisy" (try their S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album - wow!). But now thanks to what my friend called "the new incubus" (mellow and acoustic), they've gotten mainstream attention.

What got me into them years ago was the song "Drive" - I heard it on the plane going to the U.S., and then I saw the video (2D animation, and it's pretty good). When I finally completed all their albums I found a whole lot of other good songs I should have heard sooner - and they were all great to play on guitar hehe :P They're more profound than they look - songs like "The Warmth" and videos like "Warning" don't get enough attention - they pick the world apart and Brandon Boyd sings his disappointment out.
